Welcome

Welcome to the official website of 340 (Edenbridge) Squadron ATC - Edenbridge Air Cadets.

340 is an active and successful Air Cadet squadron located in the rural town of Edenbridge on the Kent/Surrey border. On two evenings per week and on many weekends, the young people of Edenbridge and its surrounding communities are discovering the exciting world of military aviation, flying gliders solo, on camping expeditions, playing sport or displaying precision accuracy on a shooting range. But most importantly, they are developing into well rounded, disciplined, responsible and confident young adults with a real head start in life. Edenbridge's Air Cadets are constantly challenging themselves, and now I am challenging YOU...

If you're aged 13 to 17 and want excitement, adventure, vocational qualifications and new mates, then come and get it.

If you're aged 20 to 55 and want to make a difference to your community whilst having fun and developing your own skills, then step forward and be counted.

Don't settle for being one of the crowd. Call us NOW and get involved as an Air Cadet or as an Adult Volunteer. It will be the best decision you ever make!

I hope that you will find something of interest to you as you browse the site, whether you are an existing or former member of the Squadron family, thinking about accepting my challenge, or simply want to know more about who we are and what we do.

Thank you for visiting and if you have any suggestions or comments about the site (positive or not), please let us know so that we can develop and improve this important link to you.

Best wishes,

- Flight Lieutenant Howard Skinner RAFVR(T)
