People passing Squadron Headquarters this morning (Monday 9 February) may be wondering why the police and an Army bomb disposal team are sitting at the Four Elms Road gate. Well don't worry - we're fine and the Squadron is not going to be the first Air Cadet unit into orbit!

The Army will be using the field in front of our building to dispose of a small unexploded wartime item later.

There's nothing to worry about and it's nothing to do with us. The Squadron holds no weapons, ammunition or explosive material, either live or inert, on our premises.
