What We Do

Community Involvement

340 Squadron is very active within the local community. We assist with car parking and marshalling duties at a number of local events every year, take part in Remembrance Sunday parades in Edenbridge and Limpsfield, and enter a float in the Edenbridge Bonfire Society parade in November.

Our biggest commitment however, is to the Oxted and Limpsfield Branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA), for whom we raise funds throughout the year in support of RAF service personnel and their families, past and present, who find themselves in need.

In recognition of our fundraising efforts, the Oxted and Limpsfield Branch has adopted the Squadron and we are the current holders of the Wings Appeal Trophy for being the Kent ATC squadron to have raised the most money for RAFA during the year.
